Disciplinary Procedures

The Warning Stages

Why are there warning stages?
The warning stages are there not to make an example of people, but instead, to give them a chance to improve their behaviour before a stage 3 warning results in an outright ban.

Are there any exceptions to the Warning Stages?
Depending on the severity of the action by the member, the stages can be bypassed all together and result in an outright ban. This will only result as a consequence of extreme bad behaviour.

When will official warnings be handed out?
Minor offences may be overlooked by the admin, however, repeated rule breaking of minor rules (such as one line posts and similar etc.) will result in a Stage 1 Warning (25%), if it persists, then it will continue on to Stage 3 or a banning.

Depending on admin's judgement of certain actions performed by an offending member, then a Stage 1 warning will be delivered at will. Any further offences will be recorded and possibly pushed up to a Stage 2.

What happens beyond Stage 3?
If you happen to reach a Stage 3 Warning and are delivered a ban, then I regret to say that ban is final and will remain permenant, depending on the circumstances. Those who reach a banning through the stages should remember that these are all the chances you will be receiving.

Will the warning expire after a certain period?
Depending upon behavioural improvement, yes, the warning will either expire or recede to a lower level until as such times as you are cleared.

Warning Stages

You will not be given written notification, so be aware you could be put on a warning stage at any time. These are the stages:

Stage 1 - 25%

Stage 2 - 50%
Repeatedly poor behaviour will result in another 25% added to the previous stage, and a possible suspension of 1 to 3 days.

Stage 3 - 75%
If even after the previous two warnings have done no good, you will be given a week's suspension and have another 25% added to your total.

Stage 4 - Outright Ban
When the total reaches 100%, then it will result in an outright permenant ban from the forum. The banning will be put into effect instantly.
