I know this is very early to post but like Chris said on the Chuckle News thread on this board (and also like I've noticed myself lol), Paul and Barry have confirmed this year's pantomime is gonna be Jack and the Beanstalk, and at Hull New Theatre again! The tickets are on sale already as well, and on the performance page on the theatre website it says:
I'm sure we won't be going again because they'll be too far away from us again, but like I said before somewhere else, I think they should come down South more to do pantomime seeing as they stay up North most of the time for live shows etc... A Christmas Chuckle in 2009 was pretty much ideal as it was a touring pantomime as they went to Bristol and back to King's Lynn, but unfortunately we haven't had a chance to see them at Christmas since then :-\

Yes I don't think I'll be going to see it either as it is too far away really. I think it's better for Paul and Barry when they do panto up north though as they are closer to where they live, it's probably nice for them to be closer to their families for Christmas.

Well all the dates are up on the official site now; it doesn't seem like 5 minutes since Cinderella ended lol And I know the lads like to be close to their families for Christmas but I do think it's better when they're touring because more fans have the opportunity to see them, and of course they tour all Spring and Summer with their live shows anyway lol; shame they're usually too far away at Christmas but I always look forward to reading the reviews on here and the Internet lol

I realise this may be in the wrong place, but here is part of a professionally filmed Jack and the Beanstalk featuring the Chuckles, never knew it existed! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAKg86eHNbM

Ah! That was the CBBC panto! It was a tradition that the CBBC presenters and the stars of the programme would all come together, the last one in fact was around 4/5 years ago now.

I wouldn't of thought it was money, I believe that Cbeebies stage a panto each year, but I guess it's the changing of interests for children on CBBC's target age that has seen the cease of the panto. Here is the first part of CBBC's last ever panto... (or at least the last for now)

Well it's now been posted on the official site that the pantomime this year has been changed to Sleeping Beauty. I wish we could see them but they're too far away again :-\

Skeptical about any new ChuckleVision happening now, but you never know...
I remember one article where Barry said he thought Paul might feel like retiring in a few years. But if the quotes in this one are anything to go by, it sounds like he's happy to continue for a while yet.

50 Years in showbusiness, now that sounds like a good time to release the biography

As for Series 22, I am also not expecting one, but you never know they may spring it on us in surprise, like CBBC always do nowadays. 50 Years in showbusiness, now that sounds like a good time to release the biography You're right, sounds like a great occasion. I hope I can get some more information on the biography next year!
