I thought I'd post this for next year's tour thread seeing as Paul said in Worthing the other week that they were planning to do a show called Chuckle Time at the Opera (or a name similar to that lol ). I know the tour hasn't actually been announced yet but I thought this would be kinda helpful seeing as the lads gave Shaun some of the tour names in the past, so I hope I'm right this time lol...

If this is the show next yer, it sounds very interesting, and from the sounds of it, it will give Paul and Barry a chance to use a range of singing skills.

Yeah, and hopefully it shouldn't be too long now anyway before the tour is announced, now that the Spring tour's finished...

Yeah that would be great. Would be great to hear them sing and it would be funny if one of them could sing like Pavarotti and the other one is annoyed when they can't, probably Barry and they could do that Patton-Chuckle band thing where Barry always ruins it, would also like to see them in suits lol.

This sounds like quite an interesting concept for a show. To be honest, I hope they do go with this rather than another "sequel" like say Spooky Goings On 3. If it's all linked by a loose singing/musical theme, there's a chance they might do a few more songs from the To You, To Me Album.

Yes, I was thinking about it being a sequel to Spooky Goings On 2 - but Spooky Goings On 2 ended with Paul and Barry getting rid of all the ghosts in the hotel, so I wonder what this one could be about? I hope that they could do more songs from the album in it, too

Sorry again to multiple post but it looks like this show idea is really happening for next year. I messaged Jimmy Patton the other day on Facebook and this was the question I sent:
...and this was the reply I got:
It sounds like another Spooky Goings On show. I'm just wondering around what time it will be announced seeing as the new tours are usually announced during July.

Yes that certainly sounds like another Spooky Goings On. Hopefully it will be announced soon.

Yeah, sounds just like a another Spooky Goings on, but hopefully it won't be called that. But would like to see it, would be my first "ghost" themed show of theirs I will have seen.

Yeah, and I must say as well, but like I've always thought, if this is another sequel or whatever to the Spooky Goings On shows, as good as the last one was, I hope that this new one won't be too similar...

I wouldn't say they would make it too similar, but they would imply from previous gags and jokes. If it is based around a theatre, then they could include some songs which would fit it and maybe even some clips from the show itself, but not sure if they would do that, great if they did!

Yeah...I've been thinking that because Jimmy did his solo number of "I Believe" in Spooky Goings On 2, then it would make sense for the lads to do either a few more songs from the To You, To Me album or some more solo numbers of their own.

Well it looks like the tour name has officially been announced now: The Chuckle Brothers Meet The Phantom at the Theatre Whitley Bay and Runcorn have been confirmed for April 28th and February 18th. The new poster looks pretty cool, and the synopsis is there too:

Thanks for this Charlotte and it sounds great from that synopsis. Can't wait to book it and I hope it comes to Leicester. Is there any link to this article or anywhere so we can see the page ourselves?
