Likewise, I don't want to say too much and spoil it...
The house was indeed packed for the first ever performance at Sheffield Lyceum. We hadn't been able to book any seats on the circle so had to settle for the balcony. Despite being high up we were still able to see and hear the action quite well.
As for the show there were plenty of funny laugh out loud moments and "mistakes" (though it was a bit harder than usual to tell which were deliberate!) as expected. It seems some bits may have been carried over from the panto, as the guys ride onto the stage on a mobility scooter and later perform the sand dance. Songs this time include Silly Me Silly You, The Twelve Days of Exploring and the Whistle Song. Plus I can definately say Sapphire's magic and the puppetry is some of the best I've seen yet.
All in all, while it was an enjoyable afternoon, I think my favourite tour is still either Pirates or Spooky Goings On 2. However, I'd be sure buy this if it ever gets a DVD release.
P.S. Sadly the programme had no info on the biography, although there are several interesting photos (including one of Paul and Barry dressed as hippies!)

I don't like sitting up high - so it's probably a good thing we'll only be sitting in the Royal Circle in Woking on April 6th, even though that's not too high up!; it's the stalls in Southsea Anyway the parts where Paul and Barry ride onto the stage in the mobility scooter and perform the sand dance were both in the Aladdin pantomime as well. And did you get to meet the guys after the show, Chris? It'll be super brilliant if I get to meet them twice this year!! And about the Whistle Song, is that the one with the line 'If I was Not A...' one?

And did you get to meet the guys after the show, Chris? It'll be super brilliant if I get to meet them twice this year!! Nah, had to dash off and get the train. And about the Whistle Song, is that the one with the line 'If I was Not A...' one? Actually, it's this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NJhaPRGAMII remember there was a talk a few years ago of them wanting to release the Whistle Song as a single and get it to Christmas No. 1, but sadly nothing came of it...

It's been 2 days since I saw Paul and Barry on stage and what can I say... it was CHUCKLETASTIC!! With mummies, mayhem and the chuckle brothers, what do you get? One chuckletastic show!! I won't spoil it for some of you who haven't seen it yet, but when you do go and see it, you will really enjoy it! I didnt get their autograph because I had to get the bus back home, but it was one great show!! Can't wait to see you again next year Paul and Barry!!

I think it's always better to book the tickets quite a bit earlier before the show actually reaches its opening night, just like you did with yours, Shaun.

I booked mine 2 months before the actual show, back in December 2007 (December 10th they were booked) because I emailed the theatre and asked if they would email me when tickets were avaliable, and as soon as I got a reply my mum booked ticket!! My tip: Always book a couple of months before... so you can get the best seats

"This production will also be filmed for release as a DVD alongside The Chuckle’s previous offerings of “Spooky Goings On” and “Pirates of the River Rother” both of which feature Safire’s act and their UV Magic Light Puppet Company" - Safire's website
Great find Shaun, just when I was starting to think there would not be any more releases for the time being

Great news regarding the Indiana Chuckles DVD. Cheers for pointing that out, Shaun. I predict a Winter release date - October/November - in time to catch the Christmas presents buying market.
